The Man Cave team is excited to announce our latest project: adding a second story to a family home in Southlake. Frustrated with a lack of space for family activities (and privacy for the parents!) this family turned to the Man Cave team for help.

Our six-week project will add a second story to the family’s home. This roomy addition features 682 square feet of space. We are adding a game room for family activities and playtime, a Lil’ Man Cave bedroom for son Nick, a full bathroom complete with a shower, and extra upstairs storage. For years, Nick’s mother has looked forward to giving her son his very own custom space, and we are thrilled to help bring her dreams of a Lil’ Man Cave to life!

The Man Cave Team is bringing a fresh, traditional look to the top floor, ensuring that each architectural detail blends seamlessly with the home’s existing level. A staircase is also being added to connect the first and second floors.

While our Southlake family loves their current home, they need a little extra space to spread out. With the Lil Man Cave makeover, Nick will gain his own private upstairs play pad. And thanks to soundproofing insulation, the new space is perfect for Nick to play with friends while keeping the chaos and noise isolated. The parents will gain a little quiet privacy downstairs, along with a special space upstairs to play family games and create memories.

Most importantly, adding a second level with a bedroom, bathroom and storage space significantly increases the value of our Southlake family’s home. When the time comes one day to sell, our family will enjoy a sizeable return on their investment.
